1-Year Interior Design Course

Our one-year Foundation Program is designed to establish a strong foundation in design thinking and provide you with essential technical drawing skills. Additionally, you will become familiar with various materials used in interior design. As part of the INIFD curriculum, you will gain knowledge of materials and finishes, technical drafting techniques, and designing for residential spaces.

This course introduces you to the basic principles of design thinking. You will learn about design theory, the elements and principles of design, color theory, and the psychology of space. The course involves exercises and projects to help you develop the ability to analyze and apply design concepts in your work.

In this course, you will learn how to communicate your design ideas effectively through sketches, drawings, and other visual media. You will learn the fundamentals of technical drawing and rendering techniques, as well as how to create presentations using digital tools such as Photoshop and SketchUp.

This course focuses on designing residential interiors, with a focus on space planning, furniture selection, and the use of color and materials. You will learn how to develop floor plans and elevations, create mood boards, and present your ideas to clients.

 

This course provides an in-depth study of the technical aspects of interior design, including construction methods, building codes, and detailing. You will learn how to create construction drawings and specifications, as well as how to work with contractors and other professionals.

In this course, you will learn about various materials used in interior design, including finishes, textiles, and lighting. 2-Year Interior Design Course

The Two Year Interior Design Course is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a professional interior designer. The curriculum includes all aspects of professional practice, such as budgeting, estimating quantities and costs, and commercial space design. Upon completion, students will be equipped to work as independent interior designers and handle various residential and commercial spaces.

This subject examines the historical development of interior design and its evolution through different time periods and art movements. Key designers and architects and their impact on the field will also be studied.

This studio is dedicated to the design of office spaces, including the various requirements such as ergonomic considerations, lighting, acoustics, and functionality.

This studio focuses on the design of retail spaces, including stores and showrooms. Visual merchandising, product placement, and branding in retail design will be emphasized.

This studio covers the design of restaurants and cafes, including creating an ambiance that reflects the establishment's theme and cuisine. Space planning, lighting, and materials will also be studied.

This subject covers the business aspects of interior design, including project management, client communication, and marketing. Students will learn how to manage a design project from start to finish and develop a successful interior design business.

3-Year Interior Design Course

The Three Year Interior Design Course is a program in collaboration with the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID), aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to design sustainable and efficient interior spaces that meet the needs of clients. Graduates of this program will be well-prepared for careers in interior design.

This course covers the fundamental principles of design, including composition, color theory, and elements.

Students will learn about the scope of interior design, including its history, evolution, and current trends.

This course teaches students about the materials, finishes, and construction techniques commonly used in interior design.

Super Specialization in Interior Design

The Advanced Interior Design Super Specialization Program is a course designed to equip students with the knowledge, competencies, and skills needed to operate effectively in a challenging global environment. This program focuses on practical issues and concepts that are essential for modern interior design, enabling students to work as interior designers, visual merchandisers, exhibition designers, teachers, and more upon completion of the course.
