Twinkle Khanna
INIFD Kalyan is honored to have Tina ‘Twinkle’ Khanna as the Chief Mentor for our Interior Design students at the Academy of Interiors. Ms. Khanna is an award-winning interior designer with close to two decades of experience in the design industry. She started her career as a site supervisor for a renowned Mumbai architect in 1998 and founded her own Interior Design firm two years later. She also founded The White Window (TWW), which is one of the top-ranked retail home furnishings stores in Mumbai.
Ms. Khanna’s keen sense of color, texture, and sketching has helped her successfully manage residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality design projects. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her exceptional work, including the prestigious Elle Décor International Design Award (EDIDA) for her original wall finishes.
As a talented author, columnist, film producer, and former actress, Ms. Khanna brings a unique perspective and rich experience to her work and our institution. With her expertise and guidance, our students at INIFD Kalyan are sure to flourish and excel in their future careers.
Ashley Rebello
Ashley Rebello is a renowned Bollywood Fashion Designer and Fashion Stylist who serves as the Chief Mentor for our Fashion Design program at INIFD Kalyan. With an impressive portfolio of designing costumes for blockbuster Bollywood movies such as ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Kick’, ‘Dabangg 2’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Ready’, ‘Dabangg’, and ‘Big Boss’, Ashley Rebello has established himself as a star designer in the Indian film industry. He has also designed costumes for several other Bollywood hits, including ‘Double Dhamal’, ‘Wanted’, ‘Welcome’, ‘London Dreams’, ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, ‘Page 3’, ‘Jo Jeeta Vahi Sikander’, ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, ‘Sarfarosh’, and ‘Hera Pheri’, among others. With his vast experience and exceptional design skills, Ashley Rebello serves as a valuable asset to our Fashion Design program, helping our students at INIFD Kalyan to develop the skills and expertise needed to succeed in the dynamic world of fashion.
Manish Malhotra
Manish Malhotra is a well-known Indian fashion designer who has made his mark in the Indian film industry. Born in Mumbai, India, in 1966, Manish started his career as a model before making his foray into fashion design. He began his career as a costume designer for the film ‘Swarg’ in 1990 and then went on to work on several other films. He rose to fame in the Indian film industry for his innovative and unique designs and quickly became a go-to designer for many Bollywood actors and actresses.
Manish is known for his exquisite designs, which blend traditional and modern elements, creating a distinct and elegant look. He has designed costumes for numerous films and has won several awards for his work, including the Filmfare Award for Best Costume Design for the films ‘Raja Hindustani’, ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, and ‘Rangeela’. He has also designed for international celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Reese Witherspoon, and Kylie Minogue.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Manish has also launched his own label, Manish Malhotra, which offers a range of clothing, accessories, and home decor. He has showcased his designs at various fashion shows and has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian awards.
Manish continues to be a prominent figure in the Indian fashion industry and has inspired many young designers with his creativity and talent. His passion for fashion and his dedication to his craft make him a true icon in the world of fashion design.
